“When we first met David we had booked him to do a nights ‘trial’ karaoke at our pub which we had just taken over here in the small Devon town of Chudleigh. We were trialing several karaoke companies to make a decision on which to choose our 2010 karaoke entertainment events.
David arrived on time and set up a nice rig of equipment for the night. We were expecting just an ordinary karaoke presenter who mainly relied on the customers to get up and supply the nights entertainment, however we were pleasantly surprised when David himself started the show and sang himself for the first hour or so before the public got involved.
David has a fantastic voice, and told us that he has sung at hundreds of wedding receptions in southern Spain as well as the UK and Australia, where he started his career as a radio broadcaster and moved in to session singing for such great Australian artists such as Kylie Minogue; Crowded house; (then known as Split Enz) and many other artists.
In addition to his brilliant voice and repertoire, he also had an amazing presence when it came to presenting the show, and spoke to the audience like a professional, something we rarely see with Karaoke people that we had hired in the past. In fact there is a karaoke night at one of our competitors pubs that says nothing at all and is completely useless, subsequently when we put a night on and it happens to be the same night as theirs, we are full, and they are empty. It just goes to show that professionalism pays.

British Legion Newton Abbot
David contacted the British Legion club at Newton Abbot over a year ago when he sent us one of his promotional posters and business cards. We couldn’t use his services straight away, as we had already booked our entertainment for the year.
However, when a night became free, we looked through our list of entertainers and promotional material for the club and found Davids poster and business card and gave him a ring.
David was early for the evening and set up his PA system quickly and efficiently. Once the nights entertainment began it soon became apparent that David not only had a fabulous singing voice but also supplied the right kind of music to the age group of our members.
Every member that was present on that night mad a comment to the extent that they had a great night, subsequently we have asked David to come and sing again for us in a few weeks time.
We would not hesitate to recommend David for any venue or function.

The Wedding of Darren and Frances Dore at the Bluebird Restaurant Chelsea
The Wedding on the 30th May 2010 at Bluebird, Chelsea was a 1903/40’s swinging affair. It all kicked off with Dave Jackson singing at the drinks reception. All of the 150 guests commented on how good the sound system recordings were, until they realised it was Dave! His mixture of swing, jazz and classics made for a perfect start to the evening, so good that guests were up and dancing at that point of the celebrations. I would highly recommend Dave as his ability to perform to the specific occasion and audience, his voice and his intuition on how to interact with guests is spot on, my guests loved him and I was delighted, even my husband who is not a swing fan was caught singing along!
